Thanks. I noticed that Master/index.html contains 8-bit text (in
Russian, apparently in iso-8859-5 encoding), but the file does not
specify the encoding (so one needs to select it manually when viewing
that HTML file).
Maybe it's good to either add a line like
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-5">
or change the list to look like:
<li><a href="readme.en.html">English</a>
<li><a href="readme.cs.html">Czech/Slovak</a>
<li><a href="readme.fr.html">French</a>
<li><a href="readme.de.html">German</a>
<li><a href="readme.pl.html">Polish</a>
<li><a href="readme.ru.html">Russian</a>
