On Monday, July 25, we will provide an introductory/intermediate LaTeX workshop, led by Sue DeMeritt and Cheryl Ponchin. The approximate syllabus in PDF (and LaTeX source) are available.
This workshop will run concurrently with the main conference (for the first day only). Thus, more advanced talks will be scheduled for that day in the main conference.
There is a limit of 15 participants. So, if you want to attend the workshop, please reserve your spot as soon as possible; just let us know in the comments field on the conference registration form.
You can also register for the workshop separately from the main conference (using that same registration form), for a small fee. In past years, students and staff at nearby institutions, especially, have taken advantage of this.
As usual, the workshop will include time for individual one-on-one attention, so please do bring any specific questions or problems you might have.
Participants should bring their own laptops (and have TeX installed if possible). Otherwise, we hope people will be able to share.
An interactive workshop for users of TeXShop who want to get to know about some of the lesser-known but useful features of that front end to a TeX distribution on the Mac. Led by Herb Schulz, after the regular session on Tuesday. No pre-registration necessary.
