[tldoc] using the translations

Hello. I translated the file messages.pot and sent it for the group.
The new file pt_br.po is available on ctan and I have it on my folder
/tlpkg/translations.

But I don't know how to use it. I started the tlmgr using gui and
choose the language file but when I close it and open again, nothing
happens.

Does anybody have some idea?

ps: how could I send my name to the file translators?
