KPathSea bindings for Java

Today I was able to get working bindings for Java with the KPathSea library.
This idea came to me when I was looking at the bib2gls project, where the file
management of TeX-related files isn't as straightforward, in my opinion.

That's why I've published jkpathsea (still a work in progress) at:
  https://github.com/Xerdi/jkpathsea

Firstly, are there people interested in such features for Java?
Secondly, would there be any volunteers to contribute, particularly for Windows
support? (I don't have a Windows machine at the moment.)
Lastly, is this a potential subject for inclusion in the TeX Live source itself?
