Hi Justin and all -- regarding hitex info, before the release, Martin
and I asked CTAN to set up a pkg page as the usual centralized info point:

Note especially the "TUGboat articles" link -- Martin has written
several articles about different aspects of the project, as well as
video presentations at the last couple of TUG presentations.
