contacting webmasters re bad citation info, use for TooBib vs Zotero?

I found this comment on Zotero forum which is
quite a common problem in general with at least one citation source
being messed up,

Zotero seems to only offer one approach per link AFAICT and users
are stuck as if they generate revenue from tech support :) Also note
this site seems to be at least partially a pay site, money no
assureance of quality :)

I am not sure if Zotero supports this and TooBib did not originally,
except allowing an "admonish_webmaster" option in a request header lol,
but it would be nice to create informative output to 
explain to the web site WHY their citation info is messed up.
After a little dev on TooBib, I was able to get a passable
bibtex entry and the TooBib commentary could explain what TooBib
had to do to make it acceptable. In this case, there was plenty
of info in json format but obscured in a text/javascript entry.
And then the JSON was messed up with a useless key "author3," containing
a comma making the bibtex invalid. TooBib finally
came up with this but since they provide a "cite" button the user
seems to like maybe they are just pushing the pay feature
( I tried to hit their cite link andadd it to too bib but they
wanted to login )  lol,
