tinytex "signature verification error"

Thank you for your responses.

I'm a n00b, so I didn't really know how to choose another mirror when
installing tinytex in RStudio, but I found this command in Yihui's
troubleshooting comments at https://yihui.org/tinytex/r/#debugging, so for
anyone else having a similar mirror problem, I chose another mirror by
running Yihui's code:

tinytex::install_tinytex(repos = '
http://ctan.mirrors.hoobly.com/systems/texlive/tlnet')
(I guess you could insert whatever working mirror instead).

It installed whatever was needed and knits nicely again now. Thank you and
