you'd have thought so, wouldn't you? sadly, timestamps get
lost along the way as we meander through my machine,
Fabrice's, Windows, Perforce, what have you, and it all ends
up IN A MESS.
all this auto* stuff is just so so so horrible and tacky
I cannotexpress my loathing of it over the years.... maybe
it just knows that I hate it, and reacts accordingly.
I think I just hate computers.
