[tex-k] Incorrect formatting of formula in mf.web

Hi all,

In recent corrections of mf.web, the redundant `(' character was removed:

    -we could simply compute |(@t$(2^{29}$@>*p+q)div (2*q)|.
    +we could simply compute |@t$(2^{29}$@>*p+q)div (2*q)|.

But instead the `(' must be removed from inside $...$.
Not only the present correction breaks formatting, but it also
has overlapping groups (`$...$' and `(...)').

I discovered this when I tried to update my web2w implementation of
metafont to latest mf.web
