[tex-k] bibtexu crash

Hello!

Could you please check the crash in bibtexu.
This is BibTeXu: a UTF-8 Big BibTeX version 0.99d
Implementation:  C for Unix
Release version: 3.71 (04 mar 2019) (TeX Live 2021)
Compiled with:   ICU version 68.2

Please check the attachment with test files and log.
Previously. I used the version from the Debian repository, but it did work
with many items.
I installed the latest version, but it does not work at all.
