[tex-k] Kpathsea: fonts with specified path are not found

Dear kpathsea developers,
The attached DVI file contains a font with the
specified search path: ./myfont
But kpathsea fails to find it.
To reproduce the problem do the following steps:
export PKFONTS=/myfonts
export TFMFONTS=/myfonts
(notice that there is no `.' in the path - I specifically
don't want current directory to be searched)
save attached files to current directory
dvipdfmx test
Result: dvipdfmx produces error.
Compare this situation with the PATH environment
variable: if we call an executable via specific path,
as, e.g., `/dir/prog', then PATH is not consulted.
Please fix this.
Regards,
Igor
P.S. Do you think it should be fixed in dvipdfmx
instead of in kpathsea?
