[tex-k] Bug in TeX and METAFONT

Thanks. It's been brought it up before.

    This problem does not concern TL's TeX and METAFONT.
    I think this is because they use their own mechanisms for
    file searching.

It works in TL (and every other real implementation, like Wolfgang's)
because we remove those flush_string calls in the change file. -k
