The New Computer Modern Typewriter Fonts

Yet another implementation of The Computer Modern fonts with enhanced glyph coverage is the New Computer Modern fonts. These fonts tend to keep the visual design of the original Computer Modern Fonts. The New Computer Modern fonts come in OpenType only.

Stylistic variations of the Computer Modern fonts

As the original design of the Computer Modern fonts were made in MetaFont with a high degree of parameterization, several modifications of the fonts are available.

Furthermore there are several re-implementations of the original fonts as demonstrated above.

Computer Modern Typewriter Quotation

The Computer Modern Typewriter Quotation is made a tiny bit wider than the original. It has an European version as well.

Style example

Latin Modern Mono Light

The Latin Modern Mono Light is as the name suggests a lighter version of Latin Modern Mono.

Style example

Latin Modern Mono Light Condensed

The Latin Modern Mono Light Condensed a narrower version of Latin Modern Mono Light.

Style example

Latin Modern Mono Proportional

The Latin Modern Mono Proportional has an apparently similar design but the metric is made proportional; i.e. based on the visible width of the characters. As the metric is not bound to be within a fixed width some of the characters have quite different design. The font has (visible) ligatures.
