[tldoc] offer of help with an install guide for the unsophisticated windows user

Hi there,

I'm a happy user of TeX Live on ubuntu. I recently had an email 
exchange assisting a retired academic who wanted to install LaTeX. 
He's a Windows user and his general level of computer knowledge is 
perhaps deducible from the fact that he didn't know what a zip file was.

He'd tried to install TeX Live by himself, but couldn't manage. While 
he is certainly not typical amongst those trying to install TeX Live 
for the first time, it seems to me that my email exchange provides a 
pretty good idea of what a relatively unsophisticated windows user 
would need to be told in order to get TeX Live installed an running.

I'm happy to try my hand at writing up a guide to installation of TeX 
Live on Windows for the non-geek. I'm not, I'm afraid, interested in 
any long term involvement with the TeX Live documentation project; 
instead, I propose doing what I can and then throwing the results over 
the wall for TeX Live to use as it will. (I cannot promise to be quick 
about it as there is a lot on my plate right now.)

Before writing anything up, though, I'd appreciate learning two things:

1) Is this proposal of interest to the TeX Live documentation project?

2) Is there anything useful for me to be told about the form that 
would be most useful to TeX Live, or any style guides, etc. that I 
ought to know about? (The page 
<http://www.tug.org/texlive/contribute.html> gives no more guidance 
than to post here.)
