\textbf{Warning:} By default, tlpmgui tries to detect if TeX is installed 
 and depending on the result starts either in installation or maintenance 
 mode. To force installation mode, please use
\texttt{tlpmgui --install-mode} but you should know what you are doing,
as the TeX Live installation will override your existing/not completelly 
uninstalled/broken previous installation.
Diagnostic information is collected in a log file which is deleted at 
the end of the run, as are any other temporary files.
\texttt{--debug} displays the names and contents of all tlpmgui temporary 
files in a separate window.
