Howdy,

Please describe where and how you actually installed the fonts. If you installed them in your personal tree did you run

updmap ...

or

sudo updmap ...

or

sudo -H updmap ...

(the last two are wrong with the last one being terribly wrong). If you put the fonts in the texmf-local tree did you run

sudo -H mktexlsr
sudo -H updmap-sys ...

or something else? What are the outputs of those commands? We need more information to figure out what happened.

Finally, how old was your previous version of MacTeX?
