Is this true? Then webmaster_at_PSTricks.de (for above web page) should be 
informed.

Maybe almost nobody knows how to run pdfTeX in dvi mode on a LaTeX file, e.g.:
+ how to modify the local `pdflatex' command for this
+ how to make the favourite GUI TeX shell do this
