[texhax] problem with pgf and beamer

This may not be the solution, but why are you still running a beta release
of an outdated version of MiKTeX?  There is now a stable version 2.6 and a
beta 2.7.  Beamer is now at version 3.07 (2007/03/11), although the problem
may well lie with pgf, which is now at version 1.18.
