[texhax] Ledger (also known as tabloid?) paper

[McAllaster, Douglas, CTR, OASD(HA)/TMA]

Folks,

Is there a way to typeset to ledger sized (11 by 17) paper?

I see dvipdfm can output to that size paper, 
but I want more columns available,
not just a larger (up-scaled) printout.

Would dvipdfm (or pdflatex) be able to convert the dvi to pdf?
