[texhax] ~\ref more than one \label

i use ~\ref all the time, but i can't seem to find out what package it is 
from - is this a 'default' macro?

i saw 'reftex', but that says its a wrapper for such things like \label, 
\cite, \ref, etc.

i'm specifically interested in knowing how to 
~\ref{my-label-1,my-label-2}, as one can do in \cite{ref-1,ref-2} - unless 
i'm doing something wrong...
