[texhax] using wrapfig with itemize

I note in the wrapfig source/doc that it cannot be combined with
itemize lists. While I don't understand the inner workings, I
thought this meant \item could not wrap around \includegraphics;
but it seems if itemize is anywhere in the doc, wrapfig doesn't
work. Is there some way to cleanly box an itemized list to
\textwidth so it doesn't confuse wrapfig?
