[texhax] (no subject)

Dear Sir:

 

If I get help  with this problem I will gladly join TUG at the regular
membership rate of $85.00.

This is a promise.

 

I worked through Chapter 5 of Metafont by Dr. Knuth using the program mf on
the file io.mf

then the program gftodvi on the file io.2602gf.   This was done from a DOS
window.  The dvi

file that resulted is attached.   It's not what I expected and I would like
to know what to do 

to correct the situation.
