I would suggest downloading the comprehensive LaTeX symbol reference
where you can find things like \therefore from the AMS symbol
package....
\documentclass{minimal}
\usepackage{amssymb}
\begin{document}
$x$
$2 + x = 5 \therefore = 3$
$\therefore$
\end{document}
