\usepackage[greek,russian,english]{babel}
sets the default language to english. To use one of the other
languages use
\begin{otherlanguage}{greek}
Greek stuff
\end{otherlanguage}
\begin{otherlanguage}{russian}
Russian stuff
\end{otherlanguage}
