[texhax] TeX Live CD and Linux

Hi,
I installed TeX Live CD in SuSE 9.1 Pro (i have 
already some packages that came with linux 
installed).

I want to use pdfscreen but he can't find 
pdfscreen.sty. There is no problem if I put this 
file in same directory where i have my document 
and use "pdflatex filename", but he should know 
where to search for it.
Is there a way to set the directory, some 
variable?

I am completely new to LaTeX :), i appreciate if 
someone could give me some help to configure 
this.
