[texhax] figures in xfig (urgent!)

I draw all my figures in xfig (linux). Then I export the figures in colorful .eps file. Now, I need to modify these figures, but I couldn't open them (I got an version error!). Does anybody have similar experience? Please help! I have to meet the paper's deadline!
