[texdoc] Development moved to github

I know nothing about Git (other than the fact that
it is a fairly strong term of abuse in British
English), but in the instructions :

 > git clone git://github.com/mpg/texdoc.git (first time)
 > git pull (later)

How does it know, on the second occasion, to
"pull" the right thing ?  What happens if you
have

	git clone <something else>

in the meantime ?
