[tex-live] install font manually, tlmgr broke

Are you sure that's the problem? Because that
error message sure sounds like a bug, not
a repository insufficiency. Unless the bug is
in the repo itself, of course.

Anyway, I did this:

    $ tlmgr option repository http://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive/tlnet
    <tp://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive/tlnet
    (running on Debian, switching to user mode!)
    tlmgr: setting default package repository to
    http://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive/tlnet

(I found the mirror URL in the tlmgr man page.)

Alas:

    $ tlmgr update --all
    (running on Debian, switching to user mode!)
    Unknown directive ...containerchecksum
