Nelson, sorry - but I have to ask: Do you know what "Long-Term Support" means?
I doubt it - otherwise you wouldn't imply that 16.04 should update to TL2016.

Small wonder: RHEL7 was released on 2014-06-10.

OTOH Fedora currently has TL2015.
