Hi Ahmed,
sorry that it took so long, but as I said, I was travelling.
I have now tried to understand, and *think* I understood your
problem.

Indeed, the "Selection" part (all/selected/not selected) is
*completely* unintuitive.
Even *I* have *now* idea what I planned or intended use it might be.
I propose the following:
* remove the "Selection: all/selected/not selected" part completely
* move the "Select all /none / bottoms to a *different* place
* Integrate the "Reset filters" better into the "Display configuration"
* change the "Update" "Install" "Remove" buttons text to indicate
that they only work on the "selected" packages
Wouldn't that me more clear???
Since nobody else but you and me are looking at the code, what
do you think about this?
