indeed. perhaps it would have been better to think for several months
before releasing anything. however, the previous support for libertine
seemed to have been abandoned, and bugs were not being corrected.

great, isn't it. libertineotf is shortly to be made obsolescent (as
abandonware for which there's a replacement).

the libertine maintainer (singular) is bob. he can't change the
unfortunate name of those docs.

that has never been possible. if you see stuff in the catalogue about
documentation, it's because i have examined the package and made my own
decision about what to put in the catalogue (since most people upload to
rainer's machine, i do all the new catalogue entries).
i don't believe there's much more _i_ can do to flag important features
of the documentation -- if there are things i can place in the catalogue
that would get passed to texdoc, i would be happy to oblige ... but i
need to be told what to do.
