    For more scripts that might need chmod a+x, see

    $find /usr/local/texlive/2011/texmf-dist -type f -exec file {} \;|grep
    'shell script'|grep -v texmf-dist/scripts

I guess so.  I found two shell scripts there lacking x bits, and
instituted a (more general) nightly check to ensure more don't creep in.
