What Editor/Front End are you using?

If you're using TeXShop check the version number (TeXShop->About  
TeXShop). If you downloaded the latest MacTeX pretest (dated 20110612)  
it should be a pre-release of version 2.42. That version should work  
fine with synctex with TL-2011 and TL-2010 too.
