[tex-live] How to generate a tex-file containing information of all installed packages of from texlive.tlpdb?

What do you mean? A list of packages?
	tlmgr list --only-installed | \
		sed -e 's/^i //' -e 's/_/\\_/g' -e 's/:.*$/\\\\/' \
			> package-list.tex
	echo '\bye' >> package-list.tex
	tex package-list.tex
?
