i thought (it's a long time since i needed to use it) that filemon
required admin privilege.

and suggesting that something written by mark russinovitch is that which
everyone should emulate seems a bit strong.  (i don't know how he makes
his living now, as part of m$, but when i last saw him he was making a
living by "knowing what goes on inside windows".)

i would suggest "close other applications..." would exonerate tl from
any stuck-ness...
