[tex-live] apparent bug in detex

This should work and provide better results than detex, especially
with own macros which detex isn't aware of:

   pdftotext -nopgbrk myfile.pdf - | wc

pdftotext is already part of TeX Live.  With the -layout option you
get more words because then hyphenation is kept intact.

BTW, pdftotext -layout yields amazingly good results.
