generated by the ctan documentation project.
the object of the exercise is to do away with "documentation in
comments", which few people seem to be able to cope with.
when (if) we finish, m/l/c/misc will contain nothing but "true"
miscellenea -- things that the submitter thought were useful (in the
deeps of time) but whose use isn't obvious to any of use.
(the situation is more confused with latex209, plain and generic misc
directories -- in fact plain has two, "misc" and "samples", just to add
to the excitement.)

i believe i've processed most of peter's m/l/c/misc files, but
contributions of docs are always welcome...
