Subject: mkluatexfontdb segfaults when scanning empty.ttf
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100806 Fedora/3.1.2-1.fc13 Thunderbird/3.1.2
Hi Jindrich,
since TeX Live 2010 isn't officially added to Fedora yet, I don't file
a Bugzilla ticket but bother you directly. :)
When the attached TrueType font "empty.ttf" is present in one of the
scanned font directories, the LuaTeX utility "mkluatexfontdb" crashes
with a segfault (using the latest TeX Live 2010 build from your yum
repo). This empty font is obviously an exotic case but it's a valid
TTF file that should be handled properly.
Maybe you can forward this issue to the proper TeX Live or LuaTeX
developers.
Regards,
Martin
