Is there any way to tell for sure? For instance, the XeTeX update
failed, and I have this in /usr/local/texlive/2009/tlpkg/texlive.tlpdb:
name collection-xetex
category Collection
revision 17780
Likewise polyglossia:
name polyglossia
category Package
revision 17538
The base install was installed using install-tl from a local repo that
is fairly old, and it shows
name collection-xetex
category Collection
revision 16078
name polyglossia
category Package
revision 16132
Since this was the first update after installing from that repo, it
seems like the failed packages should have the same versions.
I also noticed some complaints about "uninitialized value $out in
concatenation...at /usr/texbin/tlmgr line 508" but that may be
irrelevant.
thanks,
Adam
