[tex-live] (Installation Problem)

Hi Norbert,
I've tried to change any other directory names C:\Program, C:\ProgramFiles, etc, but nothing worked so far.
Was anyone successful to install TexLive to vista PC before, I wonder?
This might be the cause of the problem I have encountered all along.
Thanks,
Steve
All are changed to those automatically, but now all three are red (not writable)

Did you change TEXDIR to
c:/texlive/2008
???? If yes, the other should have been changed, too!!! Otherwise change
them by hand to
c:/texlive/texmf-local
c:/texlive/2008/texmf-var
c:/texlive/2008/texmf-config
Best wishes

Can you PLEASE READ my other message!!!!
At the prompt when it asks you about the aborted installation,
CHOOSE "NO" = n
then you will get a GUI window, then you will be able to choose
c:/texlive/2008 as installation folder.
Thanks for reading.
