[tex-live] Problem in installing TexLive-2008

    I am trying to install TexLive-2008 on Zenwalk Snapshot. 

I've never heard of Zenwalk Snapshot, but it seems it has some
early/development version of the code.  I suggest downloading the
current install-tl from
http://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive/tlnet/2008/ and starting with
that.
