[tex-live] AUCTeX state

Hi, I find the following:

Now... The above source of emacs+auctex does not correspond to the
binary distribution.  Most likely both should be updated to the current
offering.  support/preview-latex.zip contains version 0.9 of
preview-latex which is stoneage (preview-latex has been integrated into
AUCTeX for quite a bit of time now).  It should be removed.

The current Windows offering consists of
<URL:http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/auctex/auctex-11.85-e22.2-msw.zip>
(which can be unzipped into a compiled MS Windows Emacs tree) with the
source (all systems)
<URL:http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/auctex/auctex-11.85.zip>.

You would apply it to Emacs 22.2 (the Windows binary is at
<URL:ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/windows/emacs-22.2-bin-i386.zip>) with
the source at
<URL:ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/windows/libXpm-3.5.7-w32-src.zip> and
<URL:ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/emacs-22.2.tar.gz>.

Does this help?  Or is it an upstream (CTAN) problem?
