the updated sources are now on ctan (i got a rapid answer from the
author -- note i've corrected his address in the catalogue authors
list).

i would say it shouldn't be in tex live as it now stands, but karl's the
man whose opinion really counts, i suppose.

i can't do anything tomorrow -- otherwise engaged, i'm afraid.
