[tex-live] Problem with update

Dear All,
 
I downloaded an iso file of TexLive 2008. I copied the contents to a SD card
and then I installed TL2008 on the hard disk.
 
Now, I try to ues tlmgr to update packages. It seems does not work.
 
>C:\Users\user1>tlmgr update -all>Cannot load TeX Live database from G:/TL2008 at d:/texlive-2008/2008/texmf/s>cripts/texlive/tlmgr.pl line 600, <TMP> line 91158.
 
Is it possible for tlmgr to search for some CTAN mirrors but not the disk from which tl2008 was installed?
