OK, thanks for the suggestions, George :
I see that under \Windows\Fonts I have
no sub-directory, and as far as I can
/see, there are no duplicate names
varying only in extension (I have TTFs,
TTCs, FONs and OTFs).  Do you know of
a reliable way of detecting duplicates ?
