No, it doesn't:

TDS:scripts/xyz/hello.lua
TDS:scripts/oberdiek/abc/hello.lua
TDS:scripts/oberdiek/foobar/hello.lua

* engine=xyz
  OK: TDS:scripts/xyz/hello.lua
* engine=oberdiek
  WRONG: TDS:scripts/oberdiek/foobar/hello.lua
* engine=oberdiek/abc
  WRONG: TDS:scripts/xzy/hello.lua
