The "minor update to XeTeX" has now been checked in to svn; I don't  
expect there to be further changes to the code for the TL release.

I'm sure there will be tweaks needed to configure and build properly  
on the various targets; reports (and patches) are welcome. Note that  
the build system needs to have the headers for libfontconfig  
installed. (I don't think configure checks this properly at the  
moment, so you'll get a compile failure if the headers are missing.)
