[tex-live] TeX live in testing

    Does any one have any insight into  the status of the TeXLive
    2006 cdr images? 

No.  I'm working on updating packages as hard as I can.  (If anyone
would like to help, that would be a great relief.  I wrote up a first
set of notes at http://tug.org/texlive/pkgupdate.html.)

    Is there a schedule yet?

No.

I believe that new releases of both pdftex and metapost are moderately
imminent, so there's not much point in pretending to have a schedule
until after those are available.
