[tex-live] Fwd: [OS X TeX] Fonts

Now that TeX Live is (via multiple routes) more or less the TeX for 
(potentially) millions of Apple users we run in the problem that using 
Apples fonts inside TeX is a serious problem. Add to that the 
restriction that conversion of the fonts (which are ttf/otf but inside 
file buckets of some sort) is a no-go legally and you get my favourite 
wish list item: direct use of Apple's type of system fonts in TeX (both 
dvi/dvips and pdf)

Would this be doable?
