[tex-live] New binaries (and problems:)

I took the sample file provided by Thomas Esser, and compiled and
linked like this with gcc-3.3 on Sun Solaris 2.8:

	% gcc -Wno-deprecated -static foo.cc -lstdc++
	% ldd ./a.out
	ldd: ./a.out: file is not a dynamic executable or shared object

So, it looks like we should be able to get rid of shared
libraries for the C++ code in TeXLive 2003 on Sun Solaris.
